Editor: Manage Comments

Prerequisites

  • You have a document open in the Contract Editor.

Steps

  • 1. Select the text you want to annotate with a comment.
  • 2. Click the Add Comment icon in the toolbar.
  • 3. In the Add Comment dialog, type your comment.
  • 4. Click Add Comment to save the comment.
  • 5. Comments appear in the Comments sidebar. Open the sidebar by clicking the Comments tab in the editor menu.
  • 6. Reply to a comment: Click Reply under a comment, enter your response, and click Add Reply.
  • 7. Resolve a comment: Click Resolve to mark a comment thread as resolved.
  • 8. Delete a comment: Click Delete to remove a comment thread permanently.

Tips

  • Use comment threads to collaborate with your team on document revisions.
  • Resolve comments once issues are addressed to keep the sidebar organized.
  • Unresolved comments are highlighted inline for quick identification.
