Editor: Save New Version

Prerequisites

  • You have a contract open in the editor.
  • Contract status must be Draft or Revisions Requested.
  • You are in the Document Editor.

Steps

  • 1. Open File Menu: In the toolbar at the top, click the file icon (Save options dropdown).
  • 2. Select Save New Version: In the dropdown menu, choose Save New Version. The Save New Version dialog appears.
  • 3. Enter Version Details: In Version Number, enter a new version identifier (e.g., "1.1"). In Version Content Message, add a brief description of your changes.
  • 4. Save New Version: Click Save. The dialog closes automatically.
  • 5. Redirect to New Version: You will be redirected to the new version of the contract editor.

Tips

  • Use semantic version numbers (e.g., "1.0", "1.1").
  • Provide meaningful content messages to track changes.
  • Only Draft or Revisions Requested contracts support new versions.
