Amend Contract

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in and on the Dashboard (Recents or Library view).
  • The contract version you want to amend must be Signed or Expired.

Steps

  • 1. Navigate to Recents or Library: In the left sidebar under Work Station, click Recents or Library.
  • 2. Select a contract: Find and click the name of the contract you wish to amend.
  • 3. Open the Contract Versions dialog: Click the contract name to open the Contract Versions dialog.
  • 4. Click the Amend icon: In the Contract Versions dialog, locate a version with status Signed or Expired. Click the pencil icon next to that version.
  • 5. Wait for the amendment to complete: A spinner overlay appears while the system creates a new draft version. On success, the dialog closes and a confirmation toast displays: “Contract version amended successfully.”

Tips

  • Only signed or expired contracts can be amended.
  • The amended version will be based on the selected version and opened as a new draft.
