Edit an Existing Contract Version

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in and on the Dashboard (Recents or Library view).
  • The contract you want to edit has at least one saved version.

Steps

  • 1. Navigate to Recents or Library: In the left sidebar under Work Station, click Recents (clock icon) or Library (folder icon). The list of contracts appears.
  • 2. Select a contract: Find and click the name of the contract you wish to modify.
  • 3. In the Contract Versions dialog: A dialog titled Contract Versions appears showing all saved versions. Click the Version name you want to edit.
  • 4. Edit in the Contract Editor: The selected version loads in the Contract Editor. Use the toolbar to format text, insert placeholders, add comments, and insert a signature block.
  • 5. Save your changes: Click File ▶ Save in the toolbar. A confirmation toast displays: “Contract version saved successfully.”
  • 6. (Optional) Create a new version: Click File ▶ Save New Version. Enter a Version Number and Message. Click Save. A confirmation toast displays: “New contract version created successfully.”

Tips

  • To cancel at any time, click Cancel (times icon) in dialogs.
  • To preserve the original version, use Save New Version instead of Save.
